Here's just a few photos we've taken around Uganda that show why it is a
great place to visit, to live, and to work. All of these photos
were taken by our staff when they were supposed to be working. Enjoy!
(There are several photos on these pages, they may take a minute to download if you have a slow connection. Please be patient!)

Elephant on the Nile river, Murchison Falls
National Park. This photo was taken from the boat that
goes from the Paraa landing site up to the falls. Boat
tours are a great way to see Elephants up close! Elephants
are common in several of Uganda parks- Murchison, Queen
Elizabeth, Semliki, and Kidepo. |
|
View north of Kisoro showing 13,000 foot Mt. Mufumbira
and lake Mutanda. Kisoro is a beautiful place in southwestern
Uganda. Most of our trips to Kisoro are to take people
gorilla trekking. |

Giraffes in Murchison park. We have better giraffe photos
than this, but we like this one so much because of the kids on
the left. Who doesn't love baby giraffes? Imagine
what a real photographer with a good camera could have done!
Anyway, we like this pic so much you can
full, uncropped photo. |

Hippos are very common in Murchison and Queen Elizabeth.
This photo, with a croc sunbathing in the
background, captures the Ugandan beach scene very well.
Also taken from a boat tour. Swimming at your own risk. |

 |
Crocodiles lay with their jaws open, perhaps to assist with
cooling or maybe just waiting for a tourist to get too
close... |
|
Mountain Gorilla- this is what so many people come to Uganda to
see. This huge silverback was just 20 feet away.
Photo taken in Bwindi National Park, about 100 yards from the
Gorilla Forest Camp lodge. |

 |
Saddleback Stork, Lake Mburo National Park. Uganda
is a birder's paradise, with over 700 species, many of which are
only found in Uganda. Even more impressive than the
saddleback stork are the Crested Crane, Uganda's official state
bird- but as we build this we don't have a good photo.
Shoebill storks are also a unique attraction. |
|
Kidepo National Park- the view right outside the door of the
Apoka Lodge. Kidepo is a beautiful, unspoiled remote
part of Uganda with tons of game. It is in the middle of a
valley with mountains and rock outcroppings providing a scenic
background for your game-viewing experience. |
