We train pilots to excellence- pilots who can safely and confidently take friends and family flying, and pilots who have the solid foundation to move on to instrument and commercial flight training if they wish.
Pilots need training in three distinct areas:

  • Stick and rudder skills- the ability to positively control the airplane with smoothness, precision, and confidence;
  • Knowledge- of systems, equipment, navigation, instruments, weather, emergency procedures, air traffic control, aerodynamics, and other subjects;
  • Judgment- the decision making skills necessary to avoid risk and/or deviate to avoid unsafe situations.

Our combined flight and ground school makes sure our pilots are proficient in all three areas. We also provide the ground schooling necessary for the CAA (civil aviation authority) written exams.
