Aircraft

Kampala Aeroclub has the perfect selection of aircraft for Ugandan air charter.  They are dependable and well-proven for the work we do.  We have a range of aircraft sizes available, so you may charter the right aircraft to economically accommodate your group.  All of our aircraft are equipped with GPS navigation.  Most of our aircraft are equipped with enhancements that make them even better for African bush flying, such as cargo pods and short takeoff and landing kits.

All of our aircraft undergo regular inspections by our maintenance facility located at Kajjansi airfield.  Our inspection and maintenance program is overseen by the Civil Aviation Authority.  Most importantly, our owners are also our pilots, so if there is any doubt about the safety of a part, it is replaced!

We presently operate 8 aircraft:

2 Cessna 172s- 4 seats, ideal for 1 to 2 people
     (Soon to be 3 172s, as we finish upgrading 5X-KAT!)
2 Cessna 206s- 6 seats, for groups of up to 4
2 Cessna 210s- 6 seats, for groups of up to 4
1 Britten-Normen Islander- 8 seats, up to 6 people
1 Cessna Caravan- Seating configuration varies, presently set up with 9 seats.
 

Please note that all aircraft are limited in the total weight they can carry and seating capacity shown here is only given as a guide.  The limiting factor is the combined weight of passengers, baggage, and fuel.  When you inquire about a charter we will give you the details concerning weight limits.
